Reiki / Energy work
What is reiki?
Reiki is a form of Japanese energy work to promote relaxation in the body. Reiki energy is applied to the client though the hovering of the practitioner’s hands over the body or lightly touching the body. Reiki is now used throughout the world to promote relaxation. Reiki is an alternative and holistic approach and should be used only for promoting relaxation. Reiki is not a medical treatment.
All Reiki Sessions are Virtual - Via Google Meet.
What to expect:
A reiki session lasts anywhere from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Usually reiki is given to a client while they are laying down although this is flexible to accommodate everyone. The client will get comfortable and the reiki practitioner will guide them though some meditations. The reiki practitioner will use a combination of hands on and hovering hands techniques to channel the reiki energy into the client. The client may be asked to participate in some breathing and meditation exercises throughout the session. Clients may request a silent session. After the session the client will have time to discuss it with the reiki practitioner.
